Image Compressor

Make photos and pictures much smaller with no visible difference — for websites, email and more room.

How to compress a picture

  1. Choose your pictures

JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC and more — one or hundreds.

  2. Pick the quality

75% looks the same as the original for nearly every photo. Shrink the size too for even smaller files.

  3. Compress and compare

Drag the slider to compare before and after, then download one by one or all in a ZIP.

Questions

Is it really free, with no sign-up and no watermark?

Yes, completely. There's no sign-up, no login, no watermark and no daily limit: just open the page and start. It works in your browser on any computer, phone or tablet with nothing to install, and your files are never uploaded — everything happens on your device.

How do I compress a JPG to under 100 KB?

Lower the quality to about 60% and choose "At most 1280 px" (or 800 px for very small files). Each picture shows its new size, so you can adjust and compress again.

How do I make a PNG smaller?

Save it as WebP: it keeps see-through parts and is usually several times smaller. For photos without transparency, JPG works too.

Will my photos lose quality?

At 70–80% the difference is very hard to see. Compare before and after with the slider before you download.

Are my pictures uploaded?

No. They're compressed in your browser, on your device.
