Questions
Is it really free, with no sign-up and no watermark?
Yes, completely. There's no sign-up, no login, no watermark and no daily limit: just open the page and start. It works in your browser on any computer, phone or tablet with nothing to install, and your files are never uploaded. Everything happens on your device.
Is this a free alternative to Photoshop?
Yes. It has what most people use Photoshop for: layers with blend modes, opacity, layer styles and locks; marquee, lasso and magic wand selections; brush, pencil, eraser, clone stamp, healing, blur, smudge, dodge and burn; gradients, paint bucket, text and shapes; free transform with snapping; and adjustments like curves, levels, hue/saturation and colour balance. It runs in your browser with nothing to install.
Can I add and edit text on a photo?
Yes. Pick the Text tool (T), click on the picture and type. Click the text again with the Text tool later to change it, its font, size or colour.
How do I remove a spot or an object?
Use the Spot healing brush for small spots, or the Clone stamp: Alt+click (or long-press on a phone) a clean area, then paint over what you want to hide.

Are my pictures uploaded?
No. Everything happens in your browser, on your device.
