Split any song into vocals, drums, bass and instruments, then download the parts you need.
Your song never leaves your device. The first time, the separator (about 190 MB) is downloaded once and kept for next time.

How to separate vocals and instruments from a song
- Choose a song
Drop an MP3, WAV, M4A, FLAC or a video. It's processed right here in your browser.
- Listen to the stems
The song is split into vocals, drums, bass and the other instruments. Play them together, mute or solo any of them, and set their volumes.
- Download what you need
One stem, all of them in a ZIP, an instrumental (karaoke) version, the vocals alone, or any stems mixed together into one file.
Questions
Is it really free, with no sign-up and no watermark?
Yes, completely. There's no sign-up, no login, no watermark and no daily limit: just open the page and start. It works in your browser on any computer, phone or tablet with nothing to install, and your files are never uploaded — everything happens on your device.
How do I make a karaoke (instrumental) version of a song?
Choose the song, wait for it to be separated, then click Instrumental under Download. You get the song with the vocals taken out.
Can I get just the vocals (a cappella)?
Yes — click Vocals only, or tick just the Vocals stem and download it.
How good is the separation?
It uses HTDemucs, one of the best open-source separation models (by Meta AI), the same kind of model many paid apps use. Busy mixes can leave small traces of other instruments in a stem.
How long does it take?
On a computer with a recent browser it usually takes a minute or two for a song; slower computers and phones take longer. The first time also downloads the separator (about 190 MB), which is then kept on your device.
Is my music uploaded anywhere?
No. The song is separated inside your browser and never sent to a server.
