Questions
Is it really free, with no sign-up?
Yes, completely. There's no sign-up, no login and no daily limit: just open the page and start. It works in your browser on any computer, phone or tablet with nothing to install, and your files are never uploaded — everything happens on your device.
Can I open a PowerPoint file, change it and send it back?
Yes. Open the .pptx, edit it and click Download. Everything you didn’t change comes back exactly as it was — masters, layouts, themes, charts, SmartArt, videos, animations and notes — so it opens in PowerPoint just like before.
Which PowerPoint features are here?
Slides with layouts and sections, text formatting, bullets and numbering, shapes, text boxes, WordArt, pictures (with crop, corrections and effects), icons, tables, charts, video and audio, links, header and footer, designs with colour and font variants, backgrounds, transitions, animations with an animation pane, speaker notes, find and replace, the slide sorter, rulers, gridlines and guides, the format painter, grouping and alignment, and a full slide show.
How do I play the slide show?
Press F5 to start from the first slide, or Shift+F5 (or Slide Show at the top) to start from the current one. Click, or use the arrow keys, to go forward; press Esc to stop.
How do I save it as a PDF?
Open File → Print or PDF, pick full page slides, notes pages or handouts, and choose “Save as PDF” as the printer.
Will I lose my work if I close the tab?
No. While you edit, the presentation is saved on this device automatically and listed under “Recent on this device” when you come back. Download it whenever you want a copy to keep or send.
Can I open old .ppt or OpenDocument files?
Yes. .pptx, .pptm, .ppsx and .potx files open with everything in them. For old .ppt and .odp files the text of each slide comes in on new slides, ready to restyle.
Are my presentations uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything happens in your browser and presentations are only kept on this device. Nothing you make is sent to a server.
