Questions
How do I show a PDF full screen to a class or a meeting?
Open the PDF and press “Present”. Each page fills the screen. Click, tap or press the right arrow to go to the next page, and press Esc when you're done.
Can I point at things or draw on the PDF while I present?
Yes. Choose the laser pointer to show a glowing red dot that follows your mouse or finger, or the pen and highlighter to draw and highlight on the page. Pick a colour, undo a line, or clear the page whenever you like.
Will my drawings change the PDF file?
No. The pen, highlighter and laser pointer only draw on your screen while you look at the PDF. The file stays exactly as it was. To make lasting changes, use the PDF Editor instead.
Can I copy text from a PDF?
Yes. Select the text with your mouse, or press and hold on a phone, and copy it. Scanned pages are pictures, so their text can't be selected.
How do I find a word in a long PDF?
Press Find (or Ctrl + F) and type the word. Every place it appears is highlighted, and you can jump from one to the next.
Will it open a PDF that has a password?
Yes. You'll be asked to type the password, and then the PDF opens as usual.
Can I use it on a phone or tablet?
Yes. Pinch to zoom, swipe through pages, and tap “Present” for full screen. On a tablet you can draw on the pages with your finger or a stylus while you present.
Can I print the PDF?
Yes. Choose Print. Anything you drew on the pages is printed too, so you can hand out a marked-up copy.
